Service CU Impact Foundation Announces Recipients of Inaugural Golf Classic Funds

Following the Service CU Impact Foundation’s inaugural Annual Charity Golf Classic, Service CU and the Robert Irvine Foundation have teamed up to donate funds raised from the tournament to the following nonprofit organizations: Homeland Heroes Foundation, Liberty House and the Landstuhl Fisher House.

Based out of Salem New Hampshire, The Homeland Heroes Foundation aims to assist veterans in acclimating to civilian life after active duty, helping their families get back on their feet.

The Liberty House helps homeless veterans and veterans struggling with addiction issues by providing them with a safe, substance-free transitional home, in which they stay between 90 days to one year. During their time there, the residents follow a 4-Step Model, which includes Recovery, Health and Wellness, Employment and Housing.

The Landstuhl Fisher House, which Service Credit Union has supported for many years, provides a home away from home for families of patients receiving medical care at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center.

Below, please enjoy a video of Robert Irvine sending a holiday message to our troops. Both the Service CU Impact Foundation and Robert Irvine Foundation are beyond grateful to our active military, veterans and their families for their service and sacrifices.
